Jeffrey van Rossum is a composer for tv, film and games based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Since 2007 he composed a lot of music for films, documentaries, animations, games and music libraries. In 2010 he graduated with a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree at the Utrecht School of Arts. During his school period he had the opportunity to be an intern in the studio of Hollywood composer Jeff Rona.
He loves music with simple but great melodies that stick in your mind. Who doesn't remember the theme from "Indiana Jones", the short melody from the McDonalds commercials ("padapapapaw, I'm Lovin' It") or the themes from tv series like "The Simpsons". They get associated with the video inmediately. That recognisable melody adds character and personality to a project. It's something he always tries to do, while getting across a feeling, emotion or atmosphere that cannot be seen on screen.
Jeffrey was a finalist in the 2013 Transatlantyk film music competition and got a honorable mention.
Also in 2011 he was a finalist for the European Talent award.
